1. Who We Are

CreatorWorth is a platform based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, available at creatorworth.in. We help Indian content creators understand and negotiate their fair market value for brand deals.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and other applicable Indian law.

2. What Information We Collect

When you use CreatorWorth, we collect the following information:

Your email address — to deliver your report and send service-related updates
Your Instagram handle — to identify your creator profile
Your content niche (e.g. fitness, fashion, finance, travel, tech)
Your follower count range and engagement data (entered by you)
Payment transaction records via Razorpay — we do not store card or UPI details

We do not collect your passwords, private messages, or any data beyond what you explicitly provide.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases:

Contractual necessity — your email, Instagram handle, and creator profile data are required to generate and deliver the report you purchased. Without this data, the service cannot be provided.
Consent — for optional marketing emails and product updates. You can withdraw consent and unsubscribe at any time.
Legitimate interest — for anonymised, aggregated analysis to improve our pricing benchmarks. No individual data is identifiable in this process.

4. How We Use Your Information

To generate and deliver your personalised pricing report
To send transactional emails related to your purchase
To improve our pricing dataset and benchmarks (anonymised aggregates only)
To send occasional product updates — you can unsubscribe at any time

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. CreatorWorth does not store any credit card, debit card, or UPI information on our servers. Razorpay's privacy policy governs the processing of your payment data.

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on servers located within India. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest) and access controls to protect your information.

Retention period: We retain your personal data for 24 months from the date of your last interaction with CreatorWorth. After this period, your data is securely deleted unless retention is required by applicable law (e.g. GST or financial records, which may be retained for up to 7 years as required by Indian tax law).

7. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act 2023

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

Access — obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you
Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
Erasure — request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention obligations)
Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer
Withdraw consent — opt out of marketing communications at any time
Nominate — nominate another individual to exercise rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity

9. Cookies

CreatorWorth uses minimal functional cookies to ensure the website operates correctly (e.g. session continuity during checkout). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. No explicit cookie consent banner is required for strictly functional cookies under applicable Indian law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 7 days before changes take effect. Continued use of CreatorWorth after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
